On 27, 28 and 29 November 2015, huge crowds had gathered in Flanders Expo in Ghent. The Belgian tennis team played in a historic finale of the Davis Cup against the United Kingdom. Simultaneously, the ladies of ‘K3’ (a Dutch-language girl pop group) gave their first farewell concerts in Flanders Expo. Both events jointly drew over 20,000 people to the venue on Saturday and Sunday. 

Scelta Mobility detailed a mobility plan for this top weekend in close cooperation with Tennis Vlaanderen, Artexis and the City of Ghent. The important elements to consider were public transport, parking capacity, traffic flow and of course safety. Sound communication ensured that many people had chosen to come by bike. The extra tram services of De Lijn also transported quite a lot people. Those who did come by car were directed to the right car park with dynamic signs. G4S parking stewards helped people efficiently park their cars at the car parks. We won the battle with traffic that weekend. Everybody was able to reach his destination in time for the beginning of the concert or tennis match. Unfortunately, the Belgian team lost the finale of the Davis Cup...
